With reference to the above subject and reference regarding fixing “Diwali Vacation” in schools for the academic year 2022-23 by the Government of Gujarat, the dates of vacation in all the primary and secondary schools of the state should be the same as per the announcement made by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar every year. Diwali vacation for primary schools in the state is scheduled for 20/10/2022 to 09/11/2022 for a total of 21 days as per the date mentioned in the school activity calendar.

Diwali Vacation Date 2022-23
Regarding the Diwali vacation, the District Education Officer and the District Primary Education Officer have to coordinate and announce the vacation dates as suggested. So that the vacation date of children of both primary and secondary schools can be same. The District Education Officers have to communicate this letter to Government, Granted and Independent Teaching Temples, Child Teaching Temples, Experimental Schools and all the schools under your control.
Gujarat Education Board 2022/23 Diwali Vacation Calendar Released
Gujarat Board 2022-23 Calendar Released: The Gujarat Education Department has released the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board calendar for the year 2022-23. This calendar presents all the details including First Semester, Second Semester, Exam Date, Board Exam Date, Public Holidays. Gujarat Board Class 10th and 12th board exam will start from March 14 and these exams will be completed on March 31. Apart from this, there will be 80 holidays during the year.
